Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra, has been stormed by the military since midnight, and reports claim that the soldiers have been violent in their response.
It’s been a few days since a coworker was reportedly murdered in the neighborhood with a knife.
Other online videos show a young man being flogged while a bystander films from a nearby window.
Some folks were even shown on camera rolling around in the muck left behind by the early morning showers.
The reports say that anyone who resist military orders are beaten and mistreated. Nevertheless, this latest turn of events has set the Internet ablaze.
Some Ghanaians seem to be ok with what the soldiers are doing as a result of the storm since midnight while others deem it inappropriate or absolute abuse to the Ashaiman people. Kindly check videos below and what the people of Ghana are saying on Twitter;

This is so uncalled for, why beat people going about their daily activity? When you could just allow the police do their investigation and get the culprits involved. Shame on the army, shame on the police for not being able to do their homework.#ashaiman #tulaku pic.twitter.com/bwnFURxI5v
