In a daring and ambitious endeavour, a group of about twelve (12) Ghanaians has embarked on an extraordinary road trip from the city of Accra, Ghana to London in the United Kingdom.
In an interview with Peace FM, one of the members identified as Saka mentioned that, they are a team of twelve people and they are on their way to complete a journey spanning a staggering 10,000 kilometres. Their destination? London. The team’s anticipated arrival date is set for either Sunday, August 6, or Monday, August 7, 2023. They went on this trip with 5 Ghanaian registered cars consisting of two V8s, One G-Wagon, one Ford F150 and a lexus.
During the same interview Saka, threw more light on their motivation for embarking on this extraordinary expedition. The individual, identified as Saka, revealed they have read numerous accounts of people embarking on journeys from Europe to Ghana and to other parts of Africa. In light of this, they too were inspired to take up the challenge, driven by their own adventurous and fun loving spirit.
In a new development, the team is left with only nine members. Three dropped out of the journey midway. As we speak, the team has officially set off from Spain after as short break over there and is currently en route to realising their long-awaited dream.
