Reports reaching our desk has it that Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif has been arrested at the Kotokoa International Airport in Accra.
On the evening of July 19, 2023, Black Sherif, the recent VGMA Artist of the Year, was detained at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
Kofi TV reported that he was taken from the airport to Accra’s police headquarters because he had broken a contract by not performing in Greece on July 4.
Kofi Adomah, host of the Kofi TV channel on YouTube, went on to explain that the Black Sherif had been arrested it detained at the airport because he was on the stop list due to a client complaint.
Kofi Adoma stated that his team made checks with their sources, and it seems that he has to perform on a Greek cruise ship for US$40,000, of which he would only be paid half.

Kofi said that after the show, the 21 year old singer was due to get the rest of the money.
A close associate of the artist has confirmed that the concert will take place on August 19.
