WINGS is inviting applications for a Communications Coordinator to support its global communications activities. This fully remote consulting opportunity is open to applicants worldwide and offers annual compensation of USD 30,000 to USD 46,500, depending partly on the applicant’s location.
WINGS is a global philanthropy network connecting more than 240 member organisations across over 60 countries. The successful candidate will help coordinate communications projects, manage digital content and support engagement with members and partners.
Major Responsibilities
The role holder will:
- Coordinate communications projects, schedules and deadlines.
- Prepare and publish content across websites, newsletters, blogs and social media.
- Support digital communications systems and content management processes.
- Coordinate communications with members and networks across different regions.
- Monitor audience engagement and communications performance.
- Collaborate with programme teams and other colleagues.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have:
- At least six years of relevant professional experience in communications or a related field.
- Excellent English writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and publishing digital content.
- Strong organisational, communication and collaboration skills.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Familiarity with WordPress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite and Canva is desirable. Experience in international nonprofit organisations is an advantage, while proficiency in French, Spanish or Portuguese is beneficial.
