As the incumbent at Asaase Radio Broadcasting Company Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and equipment. Your role will encompass Transportation & Planning, Reporting, Compliance & Documentation, and Customer Service, contributing to the smooth operation of our broadcasting services.
REPORTING LINE: Transport Coordinator
Duties:
Planning & Transportation
- Plan and optimize driving routes for efficient transportation of personnel and equipment.
- Coordinate with the scheduling team to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs for staff and guests
- Monitor traffic conditions and adapt routes to minimize delays.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure the maintenance of a fleet of vehicles.
Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Provide regular reports on transportation activities, including any incidents or issues.
- Communicate effectively with the transportation supervisor and other relevant departments.
- Report any accidents, breakdowns, or emergencies promptly and accurately.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Maintain and update all necessary licenses and certifications required for the operation of vehicles.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Complete and submit required documentation, including trip logs, inspection reports, and delivery receipts.
Customer Service
- Provide a high level of customer service to staff, guests, and clients.
- Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage handling as needed.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable environment within the vehicles
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Required:
- Valid Driver’s License is pivotal for the role
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a corporate or broadcasting setting.
- Familiarity with transportation planning and logistics.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
- Familiarity with radio broadcasting operations is a plus.
