Société Générale, a globally respected financial institution, is offering employment to finance gurus. The bank is currently seeking a professional in the Custody Business to join its Treasury team to lead and grow custody and asset servicing.
Key Results Areas:
- Have an oversight responsibility of the running of the custody business of the Bank
- Develop strategies and plans to market and manage businesses within the custody space.
- Ensure that the operation of the custody business is in line with the bank’s policies and all regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the establishment of a portfolio made up of custody clients and provide dedicated relationship management to customers within the set portfolio.
- To oversee and promote the synergies/partnership between SG Ghana Custody operations and its Head Office counterpart.
- Meet assigned Assets Under Custody (AUC) and income target for the unit.
- Review the portfolio constantly to create depth in key business relationships.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between prospective and current clients.
- Identify client needs and corresponding sales opportunities bank-wide and promote and actively promote ways to increase client utilization of products and services, capitalizing on the unique and comprehensive capabilities of the bank.
- Manage existing portfolio proficiently and stay informed of developing trends in the custody space.
- Review all Portfolio Valuation Reports (PVRs) before they are submitted to clients.
- Coordinating account opening and client on-boarding.

What You Need To Have:
- Minimum of master’s degree in finance or a related field
- Additional professional certification in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- ACI Dealing Certificate
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Treasury with preference in Financial Institutions and Custody Business Management
- Treasury business team supervision experience is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy with proficient Excel skills and report writing skills.
