The Openings:
1. Account Officer
Duties:
- Lead by modelling the company’s values and acting as an exemplary brand ambassador so as to inspire others and to live the values and hold them accountable if they are not.
- Put together, verify and submit a report on the daily cash lodgments made by all the stations in the assigned territory.
- Perform account reconciliations for all stations and DODO customers in the assigned territory, to ensure that all liftings and payments have been accounted for and properly posted.
- Make sure that all reconciliation issues identified are resolved promptly and the ledgers updated. In this regard, you will be expected to work closely with the accounts receivable officer.
- Send monthly statements to all customers in the assigned territory at the end of every month. This will be for both product account and loan account.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Compile a database of the approved credit limits of all stations and DODO customers in the assigned territory.
Key Competency:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management (or equivalent qualification)
- 1-2 years general accounting experience
- Idea of basic accounting practices and bookkeeping
- Computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and handle changes in the work environment and operational requirements
- Strong Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Possess exceptional leadership skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
2. Territory Manager
Activities:
- Leads and coaches a well-aligned, motivated and resilient team of station managers and attendants in the territory
- Diagnoses performance issues of station managers and attendants and works with the HRBP, Retail and HHR to close such gaps
- Mine the CRM data to target high net worth as well as consistent clients so as to increase
- Demonstrates results-driven sales and business development drive
- Work on business development in each station trade area by going on prospecting for new customers together with the Station Manager.
- Oversees to ensure Station Managers execute ABC station forecourt service protocols
- Undertake station pump delivery level checks with GSA 10 LITRE CAN and ensure PETROSOL approved levels are maintained
- Make sure FULL QUANTITY value proposition is strictly enforced and delivered at all PETROSOL stations in the territory
- Take lead on fuel station regulatory documentation processes
- Ensure regulatory permit renewal processes are initiated timely
- Supervise to ensure stations pass NPA inspection scores
- You will ensure that station ledger and sundry customers ledger balances are in good standing as per credit limit and approved commercial terms
- Shall ensure station credit sales and debtor ledger balances are in good standing as per terms approved
Credentials:
- Must have at least 5 ears’ previous experience as a Station overseer
- Have at least 2-3 years’ prior experience in Territory Management under direct management model is an advantage
- Strong commercial awareness and drive for sales and business development
- Prior experience in managing multiple stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of Station Operations and Territory Management
- Good expertise of downstream business operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- High analytical and problem-solving ability
- Capable of working independently and with minimum or no supervision at all
