There is a permanent job vacancy at Petrosol Ghana. The role is located in Wa and Bolgatanga. In order to ensure compliance with operational, financial, and regulatory standards, the Retail Audit Officer will carry out thorough audits across the company’s retail locations. The incumbent will also monitor fuel stock reconciliation, confirm the accuracy of sales and inventory records, evaluate compliance with company policies, find process improvements, and ensure financial integrity.
Key Competencies:
Knowledge
- A good working knowledge of petroleum downstream operations
- Insights on accounting principles
- Have excellent grasp of internal audit principles, procedures and best practices
Skills
- Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven capacity to send a message across (both written and oral)
- Can work with and influences people of higher roles in order to resolve issues
- Ability to perform within a team while being in a position to handle change in environment and operational requirements
- Capacity to turn data analysis into useful insights for decision-making
- Proficiency in computer literacy (MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel)

Working Conditions:
