About The Role:
- To support with the implementation, administration and evaluation of employee relations policies and guidelines at the workplace to foster positive relationships and working conditions that balance the needs of both employer and employees.
- To oversee benefits and retirement programs, including healthcare, life insurance, workers’ compensation, pension plans, and wellness programs.
Your Training, Skills and Experience Checklist:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
- An MBA with HR Bias is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of Human Resources/Industrial Relations experience preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, regulations, and industry-specific labor practices in Ghana’s mining sector.
- In-depth understanding of industrial relations including contract administration, grievance handling, conflict resolution, excellent mediation skills and management of cultural diversity.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills across all employee levels and stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with management, employees, labor unions, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
