There is a job vacancy At Beyond Beans Foundation. The foundation is hiring a Programme Manager Agroforestry and Environment. As the jobholder , you will ensure the execution, upscaling and reporting of project activities carried out by our Agroforestry and Environment teams in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria for our clients in the chocolate industry. The focus will be on agroforestry, reforestation, and individual farmer coaching. Furthermore, Beyond Beans wants to stay a frontrunner in sustainable cocoa production. To support us in this, you will be expected to drive innovation within our programme pillar and develop business cases to enable us to scale our best practices to a larger group of farmers.

Key Activities And Responsibilities:
- Project Development:
- Improve our key activities: Agroforestry, climate-smart cocoa training and individual farmer coaching based on lessons learned from monitoring, best practices in the industry and scientific insights.
- Translate client wishes into activities and projects that we can implement in the field (workplans, budgets etc.)
- Find partnerships and funding for projects and innovations, such as deforestation satellite monitoring, composting and biochar etc. with donors, research institutes and NGOs.
- Find and develop synergies between Agroforestry and Environment teamwork and work our climate desk is doing around carbon certification and in-setting.
- Project implementation:
- Responsible for achieving Agroforestry and Environmental project targets, reporting to industrial clients and institutional donors on their projects
- Support Agroforestry and Environment project managers with activity planning and budgets for field implementation.
- Project Reporting:
- Result reporting – interaction with clients
- Report to the Senior Programmes Manager on project indicators and realised budgets
- Represent Beyond Beans towards sector partnerships such as CFI, WCF, IDH, WRA, Rainforest Alliance etc.
