There is a new job offer at ECOM West Africa. The Customer Experience and Innovation team of ECOM West Africa is looking for a cross-functional Project Manager.
General Work Description
This is a performance driven position with exposure to diverse functions and businesses. The ideal candidate will have skills to support research, marketing, budgeting. field implementation and reporting. The project manager will have to demonstrate strong analytical, due diligence, communication and stakeholder management skills to deliver the objectives of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis
- Support new idea development and innovation through credible desk research
- Design detailed research requirement documents
- Recruit and manage part-time/ remote field team for specific research objectives
- Analyze research data on excel, python, STATA, R or other relevant tools
- Provide credible, comprehensive reports and recommendations to stakeholders
Field Implementation
- Recruit and directly manage innovation field staff at community and district level
- Manage and deliver field implementation OKRs
- Develop annual project field implementation budgets
- Own and manage field activities within budget to deliver project OKRs
- Maintain strong relationships with country business implementation teams
- Indirectly gain support from and manage activities through country business implementation teams
- Document project results, achievements and feedback on a regular basis
- Identify, report and manage risks and delays in achieving project objectives and OKRs
- Weekly reporting of field activities to CXi Lead
- Weekly reporting of field activities to country stakeholders

Operational Management
• Develop SOPs and OKRs to manage project operations and sales
- Keep diligent record of revenue and expenses of all projects
- Manage detailed project accounting as required by CXi Lead, ECOM stakeholders, project investor or donors
- Ensure due documentation and timely submission of all field expenses and reporting team expenses on SAP or other platforms as required
- Submit monthly review of budgets and OKRs
Communication and Marketing
- Develop prototypes for communication of ideas to various stakeholders
- Develop community networks for efficient communication and training of farmers
- Design value proposition and marketing strategy for project implementation
- Support design and development of marketing materials for field communication
- Support development of compelling marketing materials audio, videos etc. for investor/ stakeholder presentations
Support other projects
• The regional lead for CXi receives diverse requests from various businesses and stakeholders and may assign special projects as and when necessary

Skills And Attitude:
- Ability to work in a structured manner amidst uncertainty and unstructured requests
- Ability to develop strong partnerships across various functions and companies within
ECOM - Ability to learn, adapt and prioritize on the go
- Ability to work independently and lead remote and field teams
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards tight deadlines
- Proactive learner and problem solver
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Open to travel up to 50% of time in rural areas of West Africa
Requirement:
- Masters Degree in Project Management or any related field
- 3-5 years experience in agricultural value chain
- 2+ years of experience in research and data analysis
- High Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in analysis tools like STATA, R, Python is preferred
- Proficiency in at least two local languages spoken in Ghana, including Twi Proficiency in Spanish/ French is an added advantage
- Educational background Or experience in agriculture, environment, carbon/ climate projects is an advantage
