Odotobri Rural Bank PLC located at Jacobu in the Amansie Central District of Ashanti Region is advertising a new job vacancy. The bank seeks to employ a Credit Manager. Persons who meet the criteria are invited to apply.
Job Description
- The person shall prepare credit strategy of the bank
- The person shall make recommendations for a review of lending policy
- The person shall prepare and deliver presentations and reports regarding key credit issues, exposures and the periodic credit review report to the CEO
- Prepare monthly credit report, submit all loans report to Credit References Bureaus and register all securities in the collateral registry
- Carry out regular credit facility reviews to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of the credit
- Monitor all loans and report on early warning signs to the Chief Executive Officer
- Serve as a Secretary to the management credit committee
- Maintain minimum loan recovery rate of 98% on monthly basis
- Achieve monthly recovery rate of 5% in respect of overdue loans
Qualification Required & Experience
- First Degree in a related field and or acceptable professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA, project management etc, Masters Degree in a related field is an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar position in the rural banking industry

- Strong computer literacy skills
- Good understanding of IFRS9 credit impairment models
Reporting Line:
- The person shall report to the Chief Executive Officer
