iDE Ghana, an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the Agriculture and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sectors is recruiting an Evidence & Analytics Officer.

GENERAL DEFINITION OF JOB ROLE
Under the direction of the Evidence & Analytics Director and direct supervision of the Evidence & Analytics Manager, the Evidence and Analytics Officer will ensure effective and efficient data collection, monitoring and evaluation, and results oriented reporting processes of all implementing projects in the organization, as well as support on any other data assignment in the Evidence and Analytics department.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
i. Reports directly to Evidence & Analytics Manager.
ii. Work closely with direct reports and collaborate with other teams in iDE Ghana Operation, WASH & Agriculture teams to achieve program/organisational goals and objectives.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Ensures timely collection of data across all projects.
ii. Ensures data accuracy and compliance with data collection protocols.
iii. Ensures all field forms are completed accurately and on time
iv. Preparation of updates, budgets, and field movement plan of every field trip
v. Compilation of a quarterly field reports for every project
vi. Assists the E&A Manager in the preparation of reports and dashboards in salesforce for all existing projects in the organization.
vii. Take on any additional works as required by the E&A Manager and other departmental leads in the organization.
Required Skills or Experience
i. Degree in Statistics, Applied Research, International Development or other relevant areas from a recognized university.
ii. 4 to 5 years’ experience in similar role and especially in field research is desirable.
iii. Understanding of basic research principles and practices.
iv. Ability to collect, analyze, and compile accurate and up to date data.
v. Experience in mobile survey data collection.
vi. Ability to speak Dagbani, Twi, Hausa, or any other languages from the three northern regions of Ghana is desirable.
vii. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally about research findings.
viii. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining required performance standards.
ix. Working knowledge in salesforce will be an advantage.
x. Ability to work and relate with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
xi. Self-motivated, details oriented and highly responsive.
xii. Must have a positive attitude and orientation to work.
xiii. A team player and collaborative.
xiv. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Taroworks.
