Enterprise Network & Automation Specialist

The position of Enterprise Network & Automation Specialist is open at Fidelity Bank. This is a full time role meant for university graduates.

Job Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize network performance.
Respond to user-reported network problems, providing timely resolution and effective communication throughout the troubleshooting process.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any potential vulnerabilities or threats, implementing appropriate measures to ensure network security and data protection.
performing routine maintenance tasks such as patching Interface Operating Systems (IOS) and applications, backing up data, and updating security settings
Collaborate with other IT team members to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring its alignment with the bank’s goals and requirements.

Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in disciplines such as engineering, computer sciences, with Microsoft Certification and ITIL Foundation certificate CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC) and wireless access points.
Experience in troubleshooting network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and technologies to ensure optimal network performance and security.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve network-related issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
