There is an employment opportunity at 44 Wood Ghana. We are looking for Interior Architect with a flair, and that specializes in furniture designs for interior spaces. The architect will work on various products (kitchen cabinets, beds, wardrobes. and tv units (With MDF Wood Only, Not Upholstery Furniture design) we develop for our clients. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for color, shape, and b able to translate requirements into practical product features. Ultimately. You will help us build products that are easy to use and appealing to our potential clients.
Architect Responsibilities:
- Defining product specifications, creating digital drawings, and cutting lists.
- communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teams in order to address clients’ needs
- Provide layouts, general arrangements, and detailed technical drawings on SketchUp layout in accordance with timeline, quality, assurance standards, and client’s project specifications.
- Preparing specifications based on technical knowledge, given information, and/or sketch drawings.
- You will be predominantly tasked with designing the followings; kitchen cabinets, beds, wardrobes, tv units, showrooms, vanity units, workstations, shops, desks, cladding, and special space-required designs.
- Should be able to achieve the client’s goals and requirements under the design scope

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, a master’s is a plus.
- Expertise in SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, Lumion or Vray, AutoCAD
- 2+ years of proven work experience in the interior design industry with a portfolio of kitchen cabinets, beds, wardrobes, and tv units (Not Upholstery Furniture design)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Good leadership and team working skills.
- Must be able to study blueprints and design to suit as required by clients
- Must have a strong sense of color psychology prior to space settings.
- The Interior architect must have knowledge of design trends and the ability to meet the specific needs of manufacturers and other clients.
