Butcher Needed At Melcom Ghana

Melcom needs the service of a butcher in the following branches: Accra Mall, Achimota Mall, East Legon Boundary Road, Spintex Mall.

Job Description:

Responsible for preparing various cuts of meat including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb. This involves cutting, trimming, and deboning meat to meet customer specifications or for retail display.
managing inventory by ensuring that meat products are stored properly, rotated to maintain freshness, and ordered as needed. They also track stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock
Providing customer service by advising customers on the best cuts of meat, cooking techniques, and portion sizes. They also take special orders and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following all health and safety regulations. They are responsible for cleaning equipment, and work surfaces, and ensuring that meat products are handled and stored safely to prevent contamination.

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the related field.
Proficiency in using knives and other cutting tools to accurately and efficiently cut, trim, and debone meat Experience in various bu tchery techniques, including portioning grinding, and marinating, is essential.
A deep understanding of different cuts of meat, their uses, and how to assess meat quality.
