Act 830, 2011, passed by Parliament on December 31, 2011, created the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). The University is a national school that is paid for by the government and aims to be a centre of excellence in energy and natural resource management and leadership.
The University’s programmes and research focus on interdisciplinary cooperation and take into account areas like economics, law and policy, management, science, technology, and engineering, as well as social and political problems that affect energy and natural resources.
