Sweden is going to host Europe’s first sex sports tournament, making it the first country in the world to do so.
According to the Times of India, Sweden is the first country to officially recognize sex competitions as sports, and on June 8th, the inaugural European Sex Championship will kick off in Gothenburg.
There will be 20 athletes from a different countries competing for about 6 weeks. Diversity and acceptance of all sexual orientations are highly encouraged by the tournament. It’s reasonable to assume that people of various sexual orientations such as gays, lesbians and more will participate.
The Swedish Sex Federation will oversee the six-week event, which is said to include 16 different categories or activities of competition, such as seduction, oral sex, penetration, endurance, body massages, foreplay, exploring erotic zones, and more.
A sexual encounter lasting 45 minutes to an hour will take place every day, involving the 20 individuals (athletes).
The winner is determined based on depends on factors like couple’s chemistry, how long they can endure or last, and knowledge about sex.
The outlet claims that there will be a three-person judging panel, with the audience’s votes also factoring in.
The judges will also assess the Kama Sutra, an ancient Sanskrit work commonly recognized as a book on sensuality.
Contestants’ scores will be dependent on how well they decipher the ancient texts.
