AirPods are just wireless editions of apple earbuds which comes along with a case that allows the user to charge the device.
AirPods, Apple’s wireless version of the earbuds that come with iPhones, were released in December 2016. The AirPods were the first truly wireless earbuds to be released.
Since the release of the AirPods, they have introduced new forms of AirPods that seeks to make the listening experience better. The charging case for the AirPods includes a battery, so you can use them while you’re out and about.
The AirPods are useful for many reasons and harbors many features. Today, I will talk about how to reset your AirPods in 2022.
It is quite useful to reset your AirPods if you’re having charging related issues or you want to solve a different issue.
How To Reset AirPods 2022
To reset your AirPods follow the procedures below:
- First place your AirPods in its charging case and close the casing.
- Then wait for about 30 seconds.
- Now open the lid of the charging case.
- Next step is to take your iPhone or iPod touch or iPad. Move to settings > Bluetooth and tap the more info icon next to your AirPods. However if you can’t find your AirPods in the directory above then just move on to the next step.
- Select forget this device and tap on it again to confirm.
- With the charging case still opened, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for roughly 15 seconds until you find the status light flashing amber and then white.
- The next thing to do now is to reconnect your AirPods whilst they’re still in their charging case with the case opened and make sure they’re close to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
- Finally follow the steps that appear on your device’s screen.
It must be noted that AirPods can be associated with only one Apple ID so if you want to use an AirPod that has been used by someone else then the person has to first remove the AirPods from their Apple ID.
