Occasionally, our parents place us in vexing circumstances that make us wish we lived on our own. Below are some of the frustrating things they did to us:

  1. They claim you want to beat the, they moment you block them from beating you.
  2. They tell you never to date but they begin to ask for a husband/wife as soon as you graduate.
  3. They ask you a question, then they call you disrespectful for answering
  4. They get angry when you start pressing your phone in front of them
  5. When they send you to go for something, they want you to know where to place it. When you mistakenly ask, they will tell you to place it on their head.
  6. They rub your poor examination performance on your face anytime you ask for something
  7. They fund your education but become angry when you express educated opinions
  8. They do something to irritate you, then they get mad at you because you are irritated
  9. They never discuss sex with you but won’t stop talking about their grandchildren
  10. As children, they made us wear clothes we didn’t like. It was as if we were in slavery. We didn’t have a choice
