Work hard and pray less – Akrobeto admonishes

Akrobeto

Kumawood actor and TV personality, Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto has given a word of advice to Ghanaian youth. He stated that most Ghanaians if not all, spend more time praying than working, and his assertion is true to the nature of most Ghanaians.

He therefore advised the youth to normalise working hard rather than spending all their time praying, therefore praying less.

As usual, his honest opinion has met some backlashes from netizens.

He went on to claim that most people who label their mothers witches are poor. In his defence, he asserted that no wealthy person would ever call his or her mother a witch.

According to the actor and TV host, there is more to life than just prayer. He further stated that, he is not against  prayers, if you want to avoid calling your mother a witch, simply work harder.

“Pray for shorter periods of time and work harder.” There is no wealthy man or woman who has a witch for a mother. It’s only impoverished people’s mothers. You won’t say your mum is a witch if you work hard. So, all I’m saying today is pray, but don’t spend all of your time praying. Rather, put in extra time at work so you can earn money to help others.”
