Entertainer Deborah Vanessa, better identified as Sister Derby has decided to take a break from relationship. The Ghanaian-Romanian musician has experienced multiple heartbreaks and no longer wishes to engage in romantic affairs.
During an interview, Sister derby established that she often goes through a lot of hardships in her love life.
She described herself as a giver and so she channels all her energy and resources to her partners. unfortunately, these efforts often left her drained and unfulfilled.
In her own words, “Whenever I am in a relationship, I go all out for the person. I always put the people I love ahead of my needs. When I am in a relationship, I invest all my energy and resources, which ends up draining me and slowing me down. I get turned off when I realize the affection is only one-sided.”
Sister Deborah’s past affair with Medikal had been publicized in the media. After being together for several years, they eventually parted ways.
In light of her experiences and the effects they’ve had on her, she has made up her mind to focus on herself for the time being. She is opting for a dating sabbatical, giving herself the space to heal and grow.
