Ina Thea Kenoyer, a 47-year-old woman from North Dakota, has been arrested. This woman poisons her boyfriend, Steven Edward Riley Jr., aged 51, to death. Reports suggest that Steven recently inherited $30 million and was contemplating on ending his relationship with Ina.
It is alleged that, the woman learned of her boyfriend intentions and resorted to a grim solution, poisoning her boyfriend. The police report indicates that Steven had gone to see his lawyer to collect his inheritance. He arrived at the office feeling unwell according to the police. After returning home, his condition deteriorated. Shockingly, Kenoyer delayed calling 911 until the next day, when paramedics arrived at their Minot residence to find Steven unresponsive. Tragically, he passed away shortly afterward.
The autopsy results pointed to antifreeze poisoning as the cause of death. This suggests that Ina may have administered it to Steven. However, in a series of Facebook posts, she vehemently asserted her innocence. She also insisted that her boyfriend had taken his own life.
Investigators have also revealed that Kenoyer claimed she intended to share the inheritance with Riley’s son. She asserted that she was entitled to it as his common-law wife. She reportedly confessed to his killing, justifying it as a response to Steven’s supposed plan to end their relationship after receiving his inheritance.
