Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo shared that her unique fashion style often raises eyebrows. She believes her distinctive style sets her apart, even if not everyone appreciates it.
During a recent interview, she explained that her upbringing greatly influenced her perspective and behavior.
Over time, she noticed that more people have come to understand and appreciate her personality. She said, “My way of being is different, so I’m often misunderstood. But I’ve found many people who love me for who I am.”
She also recounted an incident when she attended church in decent attire and received 5,000 Ghanaian cedis from a stranger. Efia Odo emphasized that your outfit should match the event and the people attending it.
She reflected on her past job at Kwese TV, where she dressed decently and wondered why she didn’t receive money for it during that period.
She stated, “It depends on where I’m going. The outfit fits the purpose and location. I used to work at Kwese TV. Yeah, I was very decent. I dress decent when I need to be decent, and I look like a bear when I got to be a bear.”
Efia Odo acknowledged that fashion choices naturally evolve with age, and she encouraged people to live their lives freely without unnecessary societal pressures.
