Kumawood actor, Alex Kofi Adu, better known as Agya Koo, has opened up on his regrets for not having children abroad.
He dealt with the how complicated of his first marriage and rumors surrounding a romantic connection with a woman from the UK while he was still married.
Agya Koo, who ended his 17-year marriage in 2013, refuted claims of fathering children outside the marriage in spite of its conundrums.
In an interview, he attributed the collapse of his marriage to colleagues who allegedly played a part in its destruction. He hinted that allegations of adultery on his wife’s part only made the tendency for divorce even higher.
Reflecting on his past, Agya Koo lamented not having embraced polygamy. He stated that he could have had numerous children with different women.
Fearful of how his wife will take it, he affirmed to have resisted advances from other women during his travels abroad.
He equally spoke about warning his wife about some threats to their marriage. The actor also cited colleagues who had exchanged contacts with her and advised her on various matters.
In the face of all the problems, Agya Koo communicated that he supported these colleagues financially even after learning about their involvement in the issues that marred his marriage.
In hindsight, he regretted not heeding advice to have children abroad, believing that, by now, his child could have been 20 years old.
