How to Register For NTC Examination 2021/2022, Registration Form & Regional Centers.
The National Teaching Council is mandated by the Education Act 2008 (Act 778), Section 9 to improve the professional standing and status of teachers and to license and register teachers in Ghana.
The National Teaching Council, NTC Examinations Registration for 2021/2022 has been announced and prospective candidates can start to apply now.
Registration Starts in September 2021 and will last for a week or two. The examination is expected to also start from 23rd – 24th September 2021.
New applicants for the examination are expected to pay GHS280 and re-sitting candidates who wish to write the three are to also pay GHS250 or GHS150 for a paper.
Who Can Write the NTC Licensure Examination?
- Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PDGE) seeking employment with the Ghana Education Service.
- All teachers who wrote the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination in 2021 but failed in one, two, or all three papers are expected to register to re-sit the paper/papers in which they failed.
How to Apply (How to Register For NTC Examination)
Candidates are required to first pay GHȻ280.00 as a registration fee for the examination
Re-sit candidates are to pay GHȻ150.00per each Re-sit paper
All candidates must pay to any GCB Bank Ltd Branch nationwide
After payment, a PIN and Serial Number will be provided to you by Bank.
Now visit https://ntc.gov.gh/to activate your account.
Enter your e-voucher Serial No. and Pin
Fill in all the fields and remember to upload your Passport-size photograph
Review the information provided and submit
Print a summary of the inputs made.
Candidates are advised to keep their PIN and SERIAL NUMBERS secure after registration for the licensure examination they will be needed after the examination.
Whats is the Price for Registration of 2021 NTC Licensure Exams?
New Applicants are required to pay GH¢280.00 to register for the examination
Candidates who are re-sitting are to pay GHe150.00 for one (1) Re-sit paper.
Candidates who are re-sitting all two (2) papers are to pay GH 250.00
Candidates who are re-sitting all three (3) papers are to pay GHc280.00

What’s the Deadline for NTC Registration 2021?
Completed application forms should be received online not later than 8th September 2021.
NB: There will be no extension in time for registration beyond the 8th of September, 2021 deadline.
