We are prepared for South Africa without Key Players – CK Akonnor
Head coach of the Black Stars, Coach CK Akonnor has stated that he is prepared for South Africa although he does not have key players.
He is expressing to the public that despite the difficult game ahead of Ghana; he still hopes for a good performance.
According to Coach CK Akonnor, he is confident that the players available now will do great.
This is a game where he is going to play without core members of the playing body.
The Black Stars had their final training in Ghana on Tuesday.
After, they head to South Africa in order to face the Bafana Bafana’s.
CK Akonnor this time, will be without influential and core players we know.
Professional sports personalities such as Thomas Partey, and the Ayew brothers are all absent.
The Head Coach of the Black Stars has however been optimistic that he is ready.
According to him, he was aware that there were going to be difficulties at a point so he prepared accordingly for the unfortunate.
About ten players selected from Ghana premier league are part of the team to face South Africa.
The coach of the Black stars felt proud by giving some chance to local players. It will be more fantastic to see if finally his decisions yield good results.
Should Ghana’s team secure a draw or win with South Africa, they can make it to next year’s AFCON.
