No Real Madrid players left at Euro 2020

There are no Real Madrid players left at Euro 2020, with none of their eight representatives making it to the semi-final stage.

Belgium’s defeat to Italy saw the tournament end for Los Blancos’ two remaining players, Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard.

Before that, most of Real Madrid’s representatives had been knocked out at the last 16 stage. Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane’s elimination was probably the biggest surprise, as their France side lost to Switzerland in the last 16 on penalties.

David Alaba’s Austria side couldn’t see off Italy, while Luka Modric and Croatia were sent home in extra time against Spain.

Toni Kroos and Germany fell to England at Wembley and Gareth Bale couldn’t do much to help Wales against Denmark.
