The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has asked Ghanaians to be positive about the Black Stars as they begin the Qatar 2022 journey.
He pleaded that all the negativity around Black Stars must stop.
“This is the Black Stars and only 26 players had the opportunity to be called. Let us support the team and the technical team. As I have said, only 26 players will have to be in Qatar and not 26 million players.
“All the negativity around the Black Stars team, must stop. Let’s be positive. Let’s rally around the flag and let’s make our dear nation great and strong,” Kurt said.
Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, selected his 26-man team on Monday, leaving out Mubarak Wakaso and the injured Jojo Wollacott, Richard Ofori, and Iddrisu Baba.
