Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Midwifery and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing programs will be supported by the grant. The SoNM is glad to extend an invitation to all suitable students to apply for a scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be enrolled as a student in the MPhil Midwifery or Ph.D. Nursing program at SoNM, University of Ghana.
- Having excellent academic credentials is a plus
- Candidates must also demonstrate commitment to pursuing a research-based career.

AREAS OF RESEARCH
MPHIL
Applicants enrolled for an MPHIL program (research areas in midwifery and related areas) including Labour Pain, Infectious Diseases in Pregnancy, Chronic Diseases in Pregnancy, Maternal Mental Health, Domestic/Gender-Based Violence, Female Cancers, Infertility and Midwifery Education and Administration will be given priority.
Ph.D.
All Ph.D. applicants who are into research areas like Midwife-led Continuity Model of Care, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Domestic/Gender-based Violence, Shared Decision Making in Maternal Care, and Digitized Midwifery Education and Training will be given priority.
Note: You must be committed to publishing At least 1 paper (MPhil) or 3 papers (Ph.D.).
