The university of Nottingham presents that Developing Solutions Scholarship.
This opportunity is available to support innovative and passionate students who can successfully demonstrate their ingenuity for developing solutions that will impact their home countries and incite change.
Eligibility Profile For The Nottingham University Scholarship:
- You are qualified if you come from one of these regions: Africa (all nations), Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
- Candidates must be living in one of the aforementioned countries
- Applicants should be classed as overseas students for fee purposes
- Have admission to start full time masters studies at the University of Nottingham studying in one of these faculties:
- Engineering
- Medicine and Health Sciences
- Science
- Social Sciences
- You should be prepared to begin learning in the 2025/2026 academic year
- If you have applied for a full-time two-year master’s course, you can still apply, however, the scholarship is awarded for one year only. Therefore if your entry is successful, you would only receive payment your first year tuition fees. You would need to ensure that you have the means to cover any balance left
Ineligibility:
You are not eligible if you:
- are currently a student or a graduate of the said University
- have studied and been awarded an undergraduate or postgraduate degree outside of your home country
- are presently schooling in the United Kingdom
The Package:
This financial aid only focuses on waivering students’ tuition cost
- Selected candidates will either get a waiver of 50% or 100% for being innovative and passionate enough to be able propose development solutions for their home countries

- You must first gain admission onto a full time master’s course
