There is good news for all students seeking to undertake postgraduate studies in the UAE because Khalifa University has amazing scholarships for you.
Slots are offered to all students regardless of their nationality or race.
Credentials:
- Students must have completed their master’s education with a CGPA of 3.25 in a relevant discipline
- For those looking to move directly from Bachelor’s degree to PhD, your CGPA must be 3.5 out of 4.0 from a recognized institution
- You must meet the English language proficiency requirements
- Applicants must participate in the admissions interview.
- Applicants are expected to also meet the standards for the department or program study
- After graduation, all students must pledge to work for Khalifa University or a designated organisation for a duration equal to their study period.
Advantages:
There are four (4) different levels for this scholarship. There are Tier I,II,III and IV. The bigger your tier, the smaller your perks:
- Tier I and II will have their full tuition cost covered. On the other hand, III beneficiaries, will have 75% of the education expenses taken care of whereas IV students will enjoy a 50% waiver
- Tier I/II/III are going to receive monthly stipends
- An additional allowance of 20,000 and 10,000 AED will be disbursed to the first and second categories respectively
- Free textbooks for all scholars
- The first three categories are entitled to getting support to attend international research conferences, subject to approval.
- Full time international students have a sponsorship for medical insurance, UEA Visa application fees
- Flights for full-time foreign students will be mobilised and demobilised (between their home country and Abu Dhabi), contingent upon the consent of all scholars.
