Who Can Apply For The 2025/2026 Commonwealth Scholarships?

  • Citizens or individuals with refugees status in one of the commonwealth states below can apply:
    • Botswana, Cameroon, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Kingdom of Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Togo, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas,Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Cyprus, Malta, United Kingdom, Australia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, New Zealand, Papa New, Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu
  • There is no upper age limit for this award
  • Candidates should have an undergraduate qualification
  • To be eligible, you must have earned at least a 2:1 (or its equivalent) at the undergraduate level.
  • You must be applying for a full time master’s degree program whose maximum duration is 2 years
  • The course you choose should be undertaken in person
  • Your application should be sent to an  institution that is outside of your home country

What The Scholarship Covers:

  • The full cost of your education will be taken care of
  • You will receive a living stipends for the duration of your studies
  • A return economy flight ticket will be provided for the recipient
  • Research grant on request (it is subject to approval)
  • One-time arrival allowance

Mode Of Application 

Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships

  1. Look through the eligibility countries and schools and make a choice 
  2. Next visit the school’s website to select and apply for a course
  3. Complete and submit a QECS application for your chosen university/course by clicking the ‘Apply now’ button. Once you’ve clicked apply, you’ll be directed to a log in page. If you don’t already have a myACU account, click get ‘get started’ in the right hand corner of the page to start your application.
