Wageningen University’s scholarship programme for talented and ambitious learners from Africa is here. The opportunity gives individuals a unique chance to pursue higher education that will support capacity Building in their continent.
Requirement For The Africa Scholarship Programme:
- The ideal candidate must be a citizen of an African country
- You must have applied for a master’s degree at the Wageningen University & Research And have an unconditional offer of admission
- Candidate must be a bright student with a first class honours and have a GPA of 80% or higher in your undergraduate studies
- Priority will be given to applicants who have not taken any master’s education yet
What The Award Brings To The Table:
- Travel expenses to and from the Netherlands
- Living allowance for the duration of the programme (2 years)
- Full tuition cost
- Visa and health insurance cost

Application Procedure
- You must first apply and get admission onto an MSc course before 1st February, 2025. Apply for a master’s program here
- Upon admission, all learners who have unconditional offers to the school will be evaluated and selected persons will be invited by email on 13th March, 2025 to participate in the ASP selection process
- Chosen applicants will be given a written assignment which’s deadline will be 25th March, 2025
- Candidates who submitted an assignment will be informed of the outcome on 8 April 2025
- The final step is an online interview. After thorough screening, a hand picked group of people will be part of this stage. The interviews will take place between April 22 and May 1 in the same year
- On 8th May, all those who partook in the interview will be notified of the results
NB: There is no separate application for the funding opportunity, admitted students will be automatically considered.
