JAMB Reveals 10 Best Candidates With Highest Scores in 2022 UTME

JAMB has revealed ten (10) best candidates with the highest scores in 2022 UTME.

Only 378,639 of the 1,761,338 candidates who took the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations received a score of 200 or above, according to information released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Registrar. This was disclosed by the Registrar during the 2022 JAMB Policy meeting.

A total of 520,596 candidates received scores of 190 or higher, followed by scores of 180 or higher, 170 or higher, 934 or higher, and 160 or higher for 1,192 or higher.

Adebayo Eyimofe, an indigene of Ekiti State, earned 362 out of a possible 360 in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, he also said.

Ugwu Chikelu, an Enugu state native who also took his UTME in Abuja, came in second place. Ugwu received a 359.

Igbalaye Ebunoluwa (357), Emmanuel Oluwanifemi (357), Ozumba Samuel (357), Olumide-Attah Ayomide (355), Lawal Olaoluwa (355), Dokun Jubril (354), Amaku Anthony (354), and Aghulor Divine (353), among others, received high scores.

The top 10 candidates from the 2021 UTME were announced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in 2021. This was said by the head of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during his presentation at the meeting on the 2021 admissions policy this week.

He said that Lagos State resident Monwuba Chibuzor Chibuikem, a man with the registration number 10054281ID, came in first place with a score of 358. He was closely followed by the Ogun State team of Adeogun Kehinde Oreoluwa and Qomarudeen Abdulwasiu Alabi from Osun State.

Ajayi Eberechukwu Isaiah, a male applicant, came in at number four on the list with a score of 349. He is a native of Lagos.

Favor of Okarike Female Kenneth fills the fifth position. She received a 348 and is from Rivers State.

The combined score of the three, which included Victor Omonona Oluwamayokun, Israel Oluwatimilehin, and Jeffrey Aidelogie, was 347. They are from the states of Oyo, Ekiti, and Edo, respectively.

The male from Ekiti State is named Ajeigbe Moyinoluwa Samuel. He took the test in Kwara State and received a 346 score, placing him ninth.

Male Edo State resident Yakubu Abdulraheem Joshua took the test there and received a score of 343 to take the tenth spot.

The 10 candidates, just like the year before, are immediately eligible for full MTN scholarships.
