A military man has been supposedly murdered in Ashaiman. Sources say that he was robbed and eventually put to death after returning from an ATM to withdraw money.
This occurred at dawn around Ashaiman Kuffour Station, from what reports are saying. Witnesses say that the man’s wife was admitted at one of the hospitals in the town and he needed money to pay for her treatment.
He then decided to visit his bank’s ATM, which was closer to the hospital, so he could make a withdrawal. He was attacked by an unknown group who robbed him and took his life in the process.
Based on past activities of the military, it would not be surprising if they invade Ashaiman. This possible invasion has already gotten people scared.
This isn’t the first time a military man has been murdered in Ashaiman. The last time something like that happened, there were scenes of military attack on the town and brutalization of inhabitants they came across on the streets. Ashaiman has gained a reputation for breeding some of the most hardened criminals in the country.
This is a very sad story and we hope the police find the culprits and deal with them accordingly.
