About KNUST Supplementary Examinations (Resit)
At Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, supplementary examinations are held annually. Exams are usually scheduled for the semester’s major exam period are available to students, in addition to the major exams, supplementary exams are those scheduled for the long break. These examinations are normally held one month prior to the beginning of the new school year.
KNUST offers resit exams so that students who for some reasons performed poorly during the semester exams might get credit for those courses.
These exams are open to all enrolled students at the institution, both on campus and online, who have not yet completed their studies but who, for whatever reason, have not. These exams are routinely required and always written in-person.
KNUST Official Date for 2023 Supplementary Examinations (Resit)
The supplementary examinations for the Academic year 2021/2022 at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have been officially scheduled.
The administration has announced that the KNUST 2023 Supplementary Examinations for Final Years will be held from Monday, 9 January – Friday, 20 January, 2023.
Continuing Students with trailed courses are advised to take the opportunity to redeem their outstanding trails during the scheduled Supplementary Examinations. This includes students who should have repeated in the previous academic year but promoted themselves to the next level, without having cleared their trailed courses.
Registration for Examination
The registration portal will be opened with effect from 1st January 2023 for the Supplementary Examinations registration.
