According to information that has reached the front desk of Everydaynewsgh, the GNPC has not yet opened for the 2022 scholarship applications intake. As a result, the public should disregard any false information they may have come across online.
The GNPC Foundation stated on all social media platforms yesterday, October 12, 2022, that they had not yet begun accepting applications for the 2022–2023 GNPC Scholarship.
Therefore, any rumors that applications are now being accepted should be ignored by the general public.
This communiqué was issued in response to the sudden dissemination of information that the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is open to awarding scholarships to deserving and academically excellent tertiary students.
The foundation assured the public that it would conduct an investigation and bring the perpetrators to book. The GNPC also used the occasion to warn the public to exercise vigilance so as not to become a target of fraud.
