“Ghana Wedding Awards 2022” has been launched in Accra, Ghana, as a new awards scheme. This is indeed an unexpected one and has sparked lots of reactions on social media.
The awards scheme aims to honor wedding designers, planners, photographers, and other members of the “wedding industry.”
About the 2022 Ghana Wedding Awards
The maiden edition of the Ghana Wedding Awards (GWA) was launched at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra by Big Events Ghana.
The purpose of the Ghana Wedding Awards (GWA) is to reward excellent and hardworking efforts of wedding planners, DJs, MCs, bloggers, brides, grooms, couples, and bridal teams of the various wedding events that are planned and well-executed each year.
This was made clear by Prince Mackay, Chief Executive Officer of Big Events Ghana.
The event, which drew a large number of attendees from the events industry as well as the media, was executed flawlessly. There were notable wedding DJs, MCs, planners, and bloggers in attendance to Grace the occasion.

The first ever (maiden edition) of the Ghana Wedding Awards (GWA) will be held in Accra in December 2022, according to the organizers of the awards.
