Her latest song W’aye Me Yie is one of the most talked about gospel song in the country.

Ghanaian gospel musician Piesie Esther has revealed her songs were never considered for nominations even after submitting them to the VGMA board and 3Music Awards.

Piesie Esther explained why, despite releasing several bangers, she was not able to win any awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards or the 3Music Awards.

She revealed this in a recent interview she gave on Hitz FM, a well-known radio station in Ghana. According to her, despite the fact that she submitted her song for consideration, it was never considered for nominations.

“I submitted my music to the 3 Music VGMA, but it wasn’t nominated. Evidently, it wasn’t well-liked enough. But many liked the song.

Even some of the songs that were nominated in some categories didn’t have as much popularity as my song did.

I believe that in order for us to improve, award scheme organizers or the board should let us know why we were not chosen for nominations.

Piesie Esther revealed in a recent interview that she had phoned Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess who is now an evangelist, to stop attacking Joyce Blessing.

Since they have been at odds for some time, Nana Agradaa and gospel singer Joyce Blessing take every chance to disparage one another.

Joyce Blessing and Nana Agradaa recently engaged in an ugly social media argument. After hearing that her husband had left her, Joyce Blessing resorted to her social media page to make fun of Nana Agradaa.

In response, Nana Agradaa attacked Joyce Blessing and released an old video of Joyce Blessing confessing her love to her purported lover while intoxicated. She also threatened to expose Joyce Blessing’s $ex tape if she dared.

In the midst of their conflict, gospel singer Piesie Esther revealed to Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom Plus FM that she had to call Nana Agradaa to order a cease-fire and to ask her to pardon Joyce Blessing if she had ever hurt her feelings.

Piesie Esther went on to say that while persuading the now-Evangelist to stop firing was difficult, she eventually gave in. Pieisie Esther thinks Nana Agradaa paid attention to her because she has changed and is now spreading the gospel of God.
