The bill also disbands any group, society, association, club, or segregation whose main aim is to promote or advocate for the LGBTQ community in the country.

They are bound by the act to desist from facilitating or sustaining the act in any way and are dissolute from here on out.

The bill also forbids anyone from forming a group or alliance and organizing any event pertaining to LGBTQ. Every Ghanaian citizen is also prohibited form engaging in the act as well.

Again, No Court in Ghana shall grant application for the adoption of children to LGBTQI people.

The bill is pending approval from parliament to be passed into an act.

One legislator who have been vocal in all of this is Sam George, since then have shared a couple of tweets detailing what the bill entails.

I have been overwhelmed by the massive support even here on a very ‘liberal’ platform like Twitter for our Bill on the LGBTQI+ menace. Homosexuality is NOT a human right. It is a sexual preference. Preferences are not absolute or unregulated. We SHALL pass this Bill through.🦁

Issue of Homosexuality remains controversial globally even though America and other western countries are making conscious effort to have it legalized in many part of the world, some countries are simply taking no prisoners on that.

A couple of weeks ago, an office suspected to be a haven for homosexuals in Accra was shutdown with some other homosexuals arrested and detained in Ho for holding a secret meeting.
