The public has been informed by the Electricity Company of Ghana that recent ECG Prepaid Challenges have been resolved, enabling Customers to Buy Credits.
ECG Prepaid Challenges Resolved
In a recent press statement on Sunday, they stated that their prepayment metering system that had issues with the 3rd Party Vending Points has been resolved.
“Customers can now purchase electricity credits from their nearest vending points, and all ECG District offices, including tomorrow Sunday, 2nd October, 2022 from 9.00am – 4.00pm” the statement emphasized.
“ECG once again assures our cherished customers that we are working assiduously to restore the Power App for an improved and seamless service provision” they added.
Background
Prepaid meter credit purchases via the ECG app or retail shops has been problematic for some days now.
Some of the impacted consumers were left stranded, and some companies suffered as a result. There were no lights for many as they had no option but to sleep in the dark.
The Good News from ECG now is that their Prepaid Challenges has been fully resolved now so everyone can now move to any vendor close to them to purchase the credits.
