The Management of the Controller and Accountants-General’s Department (CAGD) has released dates for the payment of Salaries and Wages to all public servants for the 2023 financial year.
In a statement signed by Kwasi Kwaning-Bosompem, the Controller and Accountant-General, has given notice that the salaries and wages of Civil Servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES), and all other Public Servants for the year 2023 will be paid from January 2023 through December 2023.
As stated in the advance payment of wages document covering the next 12 months, no salary will be paid later than February 28 and no salary will be paid earlier than February 20 of 2023. Kindly find full details of payment below.

“The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above. Any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective Banks,” The statement concluded.
