There is a position opening at at Nestlé. A full time Warehouse Officer is wanted at the company. AT the office, you will ensure receipt of materials in the right quantity, quality and at the right time and to ensure that the pipeline bins are fed to facilitate Put away to production.
Your Work:
- Ensure that goods delivered to the company are exactly according to the order by checking their quality, quantity and condition on arrival
- Control the dispatch of goods by ensuring that only released and duly authorized goods are dispatched from the Warehouse
- Ensure safe storage of raw, packaging, semi-finished, finished materials and all other items in the warehouse by spot checks, good housekeeping and identification of unsafe conditions and working methods
- Provide reliable information to management at any point in time on stocks and conditions of goods in the warehouse by establishing, maintaining and updating accurate records of stocks, issues and dispatches
- Ensure the continuous supply of wholesome materials in their right quantities without any delay as requested by internal customers
- Control cost by ensuring proper storage and handling of materials to minimize losses from damage
- Develop storekeepers through job training, motivate and instill discipline to enhance improved performance
- Prepares shift plan for staff under supervision and ensure their effectiveness
- Co-ordinate with Transporters and Customers for the delivery of goods and dispatch of finished products.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- One year experience in Operations Management
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable about food industry challenges & trends
- Has leadership skills and a good team player with a safety-conscious mindset
- Eye for detail, analytical and Basic Math
