Promasidor has an opportunity for the position of Route-To-Market Capability Developer. The RTM Capability Developer is responsible for increasing the overall productivity of the RTM (commercial) team in the Promasidor group by creating and delivering relevant training content as well as assessing the RTM Commercial Team’s skills and performance before and after training.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role are designed to increase the overall RTM Commercial Team’s productivity by creating a competent and trained sales team as follows:
- Assess Sales Reps actual performance and draw adequate personal development plans.
- Create and maintain relevant training content according to needs and governance (e.g. the 8 steps of a sales process, objection handling techniques, merchandising principles…).
- Deliver or organize delivery of training (online, onsite on or off the job).
- Level up the knowledge bar for all staff and handle staff turnover.
- Make efficient use of our online web and mobile training platform for all the above.
- Provide input to operations for appraisal and performance improvement plans (PIPs).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Proven experience in sales training and sales team development, preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Experience in creating training content.
- Proficiency in using technology and online/mobile platforms for training creation and delivery management.
- Ability to adapt training content and delivery to meet the needs of a diverse audience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability and interest to travel internationally (in Africa) occasionally.
- Experience as a sales person or even in a commercial team with a supervisory role is a plus.
- Ability to communicate in French and/or Portuguese is a plus.
