Scania has a new job opening. The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the overall sales activity within the sales department. This includes planning, analyzing and developing the sales business as well as coaching, supporting and developing the sales team in order to reach the sales targets and to deliver value to our customers.
Requirements:
- Higher education in sales discipline or equivalent experience.
- Business knowledge and relevant work experience in sales or from a similar role an advantage.
- Sales management experience
- Effective sales, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to build and manage key relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
- Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- General computer skills (Microsoft Office Suit intermediary level).
- Driver’s license, a heavy vehicle license is an advantage.
- People management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written), Ghana local language (s) is an advantage
Additional Information On The Role:
- The successful person will be required to travel 50% to 75% of the time
- This is a full time, permanent and an on-site job
