There is a new job update at PassionAir. A Marketing Design Officer needed at the popular Ghanaian airline. The position is based in Accra.
The purpose of this role is to support all creative activities of the airline. As a creative designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity across various touchpoints, ensuring that every visual experience aligns with our commitment to excellence. This role is essential to elevating our brand and communicating our values, ensuring that PassionAir remains a preferred choice for travellers across the region.
Duties:
Brand Development & Design:
- Design and maintain a consistent visual identity across all airline touchpoints, including print, digital, and inflight materials.
- Develop creative concepts and designs for advertising campaigns, social media, and promotional materials that align with the airline’s brand strategy.
Advertising & Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create impactful advertisements for both online and offline channels inflight magazines, headrest covers, boarding passes, and other collateral that enhance passenger engagement.)
- Design marketing collateral for special promotions, events, and campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Assist in developing presentations, brochures, and other promotional materials for B2B and B2C audiences.
Digital & Social Media Assets:
- Produce engaging graphics for the airline’s website, mobile app, and digital advertising.
- Design and manage the creation of content for social media platforms, including visuals for campaigns, promotions, and customer communications.
- Ensure that digital content is optimized for mobile and web platforms, delivering a seamless user experience.
Creative Strategy & Concept Development:
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and stay updated on design trends, competitor strategies, and market demands to bring innovative ideas that set the brand apart.
- Manage the end-to-end design process, from concept to final production, ensuring high-quality output that meets deadlines.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments, including HR, Operations, and Customer Service, to create internal and external communication materials.
Quality Control & Feedback Management:
- Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions as necessary to meet project objectives.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all creative assets.
- Organize and prioritize design tasks based on business needs, working within established budgets and timelines.

Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Sales, Marketing or Communications, Communication Design and Animation related fields).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant field or in the airline industry.
- Experience in sales, marketing or communications is a plus.
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English with good communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Expert user of design softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign and AfterEffect.
- Experience in Cinematography.
- Experience in Website Design and Management is a plus.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
