The officer is responsible for the effective management, availability and optimization of the bank’s critical IT components and overall infrastructure (Cloud, HQ and DR) to ensure they meet organizational needs whilst complying with industry rules and delivering services to customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the Bank’s IT Infrastructure and Data Centre (On-Premises, DR and Cloud)
- Work with the DR officers to manage the Bank’s Disaster Recovery Failover orchestrations.
- Manage the capacities, capacity planning and resource utilisations of the infrastructure.
- Manage Active Directory, Trusts, Domain Controllers, PKI and DNS Infrastructure.
- Manage the deployments of technologies and solutions on the infrastructure.
- Manage the orchestration and automation of Infrastructure processes, procedures and tasks
- Construct and rollout upgrades and improvements to the infrastructure.
- Research, development, deployment, and implementation of new solutions to address identified problems.
- Provide technical support to other member unit/department of the Technology Group.
- Work with the TSU to monitor the channels and maintain the agreed RPO/RTO in the event of a disruption
- Liaise with OEMs and Partners to perform periodic preventive maintenance on the IT Infrastructure.
Qualification:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
- Professional
- NetApp On Command Administration
- Microsoft AD, DC and DNS Know How
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration.
- Microsoft Azure Security Suites and Azure Sentinel
- Exchange Server Administration
- Exchange Online Administration and Security
- Windows Server Administration
- RHEL administration
- Windows Server Administration
- VMware ESXi Administration
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Focused on results, customer oriented.
- Pays high level of attention to details
- Great at knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- Self-motivated and highly dedicated to organizational goals.
- Good knowledge in VMWare
- Advanced knowledge in AD, DC, and DNS server administration.
- Scripting and automation of daily routines.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Systems Admin. or related role.
