Women in Ghana who are interested in mining, transport or logistics can apply for the Empowering Women in Mining Transport Project (Training). The initiative will provide selected participants with practical training, industry exposure and support to help them pursue opportunities in Ghana’s mining transport sector.
The project is implemented by GIZ through develoPPP, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in partnership with Scania West Africa, Reach for Change and Women in Mining Ghana.
Who Can Apply?
The opportunity is open to Ghanaian women aged 24 to 40 years who:
- Reside in Ghana
- Can speak and write English
- Have an interest in transport, logistics or mining
- Can pass a driving aptitude assessment
