1. Trade Officers
Specific Responsibilities
- Scrutinise import and export documents presented under documentary credit keeping in mind the credit terms, UCP and ISBP, TBM.
- Ensure that all compliant and discrepant documents presented under LC are processed as per UCP
- Review transactions thoroughly to ensure that all relevant documents are scanned to cover operational and documentary risk in order to protect the interests of the Bank and customers
- Ensure that all tasks assigned are achieved as per operational and compliance procedures
- Ensure timely submission of data/reports required by line manager
Qualification & Experience
- A University degree in a Business related course with a minimum of second class lower
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in international trade
2. Head, International Trade
Specific Duties:
- Responsible for planning and developing strategic initiatives for the international Trade group
- Manage, develop and implement policies, procedures, processes and services related to international settlement functions
- Management of correspond banking relationships (opening correspondent utilization and pricing etc.)
- Exercises judgement in developing and communicating procedures regarding all settlement issues and inquiries from other units within the bank
- Ensure that controls and procedures for all units within the Group in relation to all regulatory and processing requirements are being adhered to
- Mentor junior members of the team

Qualification & Experience:
- A University degree in a Business related course with a minimum of second class lower. A Master’s degree in international Trade & Finance (Or relevant equivalent) is an advantage
- A minimum of 10 years working experience in International Trade
Additional Job Requirements:
The successful candidate should have:
- Practical knowledge of UCP 600, URC 500, OSP 98, URDG758, ISBP 745
- Thorough knowledge of the Foreign Exchange laws and notices of Ghana
- A good working knowledge of all the modules on the ICUMS
